Mid to late 2013, Mr. Lee and his mother, Helen, decided to bottle the sauce that he and his late father, James Lee Jr. perfected and served at cookouts and special events. The sauce made him the four time world champion. Ranked #1 out of 270 sauces worldwide by BBQ Superstars Network Pitmasters in 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019. In 2017 James Lee was awarded the “Key to the City” in Biloxi Mississippi and the Economic Award at the Juneteenth Celebration.
